Health Surveillance

Health Surveillance Services

Under Health & Safety Legislation the Management Regulations require employers to provide health surveillance for their employees. The aim of Health surveillance is to identify early signs of work- related ill health in employees exposed to certain health risks, which are associated with their day to day job role.

Health Matters (Occupational Health) Ltd offer a range of both ‘on & off site’ health surveillance programmes to help employers comply with both ‘up to date’ legislation and evidence based best practice.

Health Surveillance services include:

  • Audiometry Screening (Audiometry)
  • Respiratory Screening (Spirometry)
  • Vision Screening
  • Musculoskeletal Assessments
  • Skin Assessments
  • Hand Arm Vibration Assessments
  • Night Worker Assessments

Measurable benefits of surveillance include:

  • Protecting health of individual employees
  • Detection at an early stage of possible adverse health effects at work
